Edit report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54776&edit=1 ID: 54776 Updated by: salathe@php.net Reported by: gwarnants at gmail dot com Summary: Bad variable argument list in register_shutdown_function -Status: Suspended +Status: Wont fix Type: Documentation Problem Package: Documentation problem PHP Version: Irrelevant Assigned To: salathe Block user comment: N Private report: N Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2011-05-18 00:26:39] salathe@php.net The current prototype makes it clear that $... means more $parameter's. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2011-05-17 11:06:56] gwarnants at gmail dot com Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.register-shutdown-function#Description --- I think variable argument list of register_shutdown_function() function could be rewritten in a more conveniant way, like any other similar function does (ie: array_map). Duplicating an optional parameter and "..." should be avoided because it is a redondant information. Regards, Geoffray Expected result: ---------------- void register_shutdown_function ( callback $function [, mixed $... ] ) Actual result: -------------- void register_shutdown_function ( callback $function [, mixed $parameter [, mixed $... ]] ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54776&edit=1
