From: Operating system: ubuntu linux PHP version: 5.3.6 Package: OpenSSL related Bug Type: Documentation Problem Bug description:openssl_pkcs7_verify - detached process failure Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.openssl-pkcs7-verify%23Return%20Values --- // $file - signed message // $ca - Array of Trusted Certificate // $input_content - Actual Input Data for verification $res= openssl_pkcs7_verify($file,PKCS7_DETACHED, "certverify.pem",$ca,$ca[1],$input_content); Test script: --------------- For the code, $input_content i have passed the input value for detached type. it shows the Error as, error:2107507A:PKCS7 routines:PKCS7_verify:no content it doesnot consider the input content will be in $input_content. It overwrite the null value for that text file.
