But this page http://php.net/manual/en/json.constants.php says JSON_BIGINT_AS_STRING and JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES were also added only in 5.4.0 The latter is correct since my 5.3.6 installation (MAMP) doesn't understand JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES and this inconsistency in the manual preventing me understanding that constant is not available in my version.
