Yes, I think having the ChangeLog stuff there for history sake of what changed when is important.
But that's just my opinion...

PHP 3 references have been been removed from the manual as it adds clutter.
However, adding changelog entries might be okay for the sake of history. What do
you think?

The ChangeLog section of the manual used to list all the changes empty went through over the years,
around '' and '0' and 0 and objects with no properties and...
I rely on that ChangeLog being accurate history of version changes.
Now it just has the latest PHP 4->5
Can the old stuff be resurrected and pasted in?
