Currently the PHP Manual prefers newest first, so: ----------------------------------- Version Description ----------------------------------- 5.2.0 Something awesome happened 5.1.1 Something cool happened ----------------------------------- The order in the XML sources need not affect this. That is, except for a few semi-complicated cases that make up 1% of the PHP Manual which can be skipped or dealt with or logged with a request to update to a known format, cases like: (A) It contains unknown types (e.g., multiple values?)
