This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
The mysqli_get_client_stats() function is not actually exposed to the MySQLi
class. So calling mysqli::get_client_stats() will cause a fatal error of "Call to
undefined method". It is only available as the function mysqli_get_client_stats()
and properly documented as such.
However, I did fix the mix up between the descriptions of the other two
methods/strings mysqli::get_client_info(), mysqli::get_client_version(),
mysqli::$client_info, and mysqli::$client_version respectively.

Also, on the same page there is mysqli_get_client_stats which I believe should be
mysqli::get_client_stats.

Description:

From manual page: http://www.php.net/book.mysqli
---
On the web page listed above, I noticed the following explanations reversed.
mysqli::$client_info â Returns the MySQL client version as a string
mysqli::$client_version â Get MySQL client info
