New Comment:
From the spec: "ColWidth specifies the desired width of the relevant
column. It can be either a fixed measure using one of the CALS units
(36pt, 10pc, etc.) or a proportional measure. Proportional measures have
the form number*, meaning this column should be number times wider
than a column with the measure 1* (or just *). These two forms can
be mixed, as in 3*+1pc."

Description:
------------
The Internals documentation has render issues. Example:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/internals2.ze1.zendapi.php
Notice how extremely narrow those tables are. Example XML:
<colspec colnum="1" colname="col1" colwidth="1.02*"/>
<colspec colnum="2" colname="col2" colwidth="1.00*"/>
Although the small number difference of colwidth is odd, our rendering
should still work even if updating the XML is preferred. The * of
colspec[1] should be recognized.
The following is found in the generated HTML:
<col align="left" width="1" />
<col align="left" width="1" />
