From: matteosistisette at gmail dot com Operating system: PHP version: Irrelevant Package: Documentation problem Bug Type: Documentation Problem Bug description:Specify exactly what functions/statements the open_basedir directive affects Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.open-basedir --- --- open_basedir string Limit the files that can be opened by PHP to the specified directory-tree [...] When a script tries to open a file with, FOR EXAMPLE, fopen() or gzopen(), the location of the file is checked. --- FOR EXAMPLE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It is not clear whether or not this affects include, require, require_once and include_once. Please list all the file-opening functions and statements that this directive affects, or say "all except " and list those it doesn't affect. Or, if it affects all and every statement that may opens a file in any way, then state it clearly. -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=64559&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=trysnapshot54 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=fixed Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64559&r=mysqlcfg
