I just would like to say here how much I loved the new chm help file. PHP
help's content has always been excellent. Now, with a local copy of the
users' comments, it is just too precious. It is probably unprecedent and
certainly bound to set new standards anytime soon across other languages
and applications documentation. It also adjusts perfectly to my screen
width, the colors are highly welcome. I was afraid the experimental chm
file would be bloated with a lot of graphics, but it just turned out to
have a very elegant and sleek look. Congratulations to whomever is
responsible for that.
Just to make this posting a little more "useful", here is a suggestion. It
is hard to ignore that the documentation has many typos and gross writing
mistakes. Especially the users' notes. It is not only ugly, it also
prevents words from being detected by the search engine. Has anybody ever
thought of combing it all and applying some proofreading? There could be a
group handling a side project in charge of that.
Best regards,
