We have PHP binaries for Windows. Why not have a windows manual format. Actually Windows has a nice HTML Help system with some good features built in. Can you recommend us any Linux program that can do the work. I wonder you can... We had a meeting (see the news at the php.net frontpage) about the PHP documentation, and decided to write our own app for this on linux. This is not an easy task however, and we need to start from the ground up. We provide the PHP Manual in many formats with exactly the same content as the CHM manual (only CHM specific chapters are a plus in the CHM content). What differs is the presentation. So you can get exacltly that information on Linux using the "Many HTML files" version of the manual. It may be harder, because of the lack of a manual interface... Goba
