249     Performs a query on an InterBase database. If the query is not
250     successful, returns false. If it is successful and there are resulting
251     rows (such as with a SELECT query), returns a result identifier. If
252     the query was successful and there were no results, returns &true;.
253     Returns &false; if the query fails.

should not 'false' be '&false;' ?
