It may seem painfully obvious to everyone but me, but I couldn't
figure out why htmlentities was converting only some characters and
not others. Now I see the blatant truth, that htmlentities converts
only those characters with *named* entities, not *numbered* entities.
Maybe include that in the documentation, unless it's already there and
I didn't see it.
