Briefly, I like "outputs:" at the begining of a comment
on a line. Sometimes <screen>s are needed but most of
the time results can be included in comments. So I think
your idea is OK, but should not be a hard rule ;) BTW we
can make a list of examples without <screen>s, it's just
a matter of using the right selection in the sheets...
