From: patrick@musehub.com Operating system: RH 7.3/8.0/AS 2.1 PHP version: 4.3.0RC1 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: mbstring setup doc I would like to know the FULL testing configuration for my BIG5 and GB (gb2312) code detection using mbstring features as described in php.net online doc. So far I can't find any info about this. This should include: 1. php.ini setup 2. example. I feed the BIG5 string into the mb_detect_encoding function but still return japanese code.
