#21813 [NEW]: OCIFetchInto() requires array result passed by reference

From: whitej@gmx.net Operating system: Windows 2000 SP3 PHP version: 4.2.3 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: OCIFetchInto() requires array result passed by reference Currently, as of 1/21/03, the documentation states that the result array used with OCIFetchInto() must be passed by reference. Since this has changed after 4.2.0(?) and is not required (generating warnings), the documentation should be updated to explain which particular version(s) will see this phenomenon, especially for those who are upgrading or testing against multiple versions. I understand that a note has been included by a user about this problem, but the note is not clear on the versions affected or when the change was made.
