As long as the DTD does not require it, it is not a problem for make test... And the DocBook DTD has no requirement to have a type there...

We can of course modify that to require the type, but that needs a customization of the DTD [which I proposed for the sections already at dtds/phpbook.dtd]. The customization to require a type would do no harm, as it is even backward compatible to DocBook...
