strange diffs with XSL sheets

Hi! I have tried to modify fo.xsl and html-common.xsl just to add CVS ID tags to the comments at the top, but as I changed that my editor changed many lines (tried with Quanta and KEdit). That is probably because some windows line endings... I have checked the diff, but no whitespace changes seem to appear so the problem is probably with the newlines... I would not like to commit my changes, as they would probably seem nasty, waiting for Tom's comments... Goba
