Please double-check the documentation available at http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php This is a release candidate. The changelod is normally only updated on release. See http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-4.php S Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-05-02 09:39:51] csaba at alum dot mit dot edu I love PHP. If I go to the main page, php.net, I see a nice announcement that PHP 4.3.2 is out, but a short search failed to reveal to me, why I should want to update. After spending 5 minutes, I still have not clue what the primary differences are between 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 A one sentence statement about the most important new feature or features or perhaps a link to changes would seem to be useful for the site. If you don't offer a good reason for me to upgrade, why should I? - not just because it's a higher number. I'm sure it's there somewhere, right, but the point is that if I didn't see it, probably a lot of other people are wondering, too, and just going away. As an example, Apache's server always lists the primary new features on a derivative web page (or states that everyone should upgrage because of a security alert). Or a what's new section. Sincerely, Csaba from New York ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=23452&edit=1
