Operating System: Any
PHP Version: 4.3.0
New Comment:
Some more free API's from user's notes, they may be added too :
http://www.potentialtech.com/ppl.php
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdf-php/
http://www.gnuvox.com/
http://www.stillhq.com/cgi-bin/getpage?area=panda&page=index.htm
(?)
A little clean up on the notes should be done after next manual build.

Which is ok, it's just weird not finding anything about this on the
current manual... Except for user notes, that not everybody can see :-)

Good idea Philip. Dear Surak, we are not going to "document" other
software not included in the PHP distribution. As Philip suggested,
there probably will be some links to free alternatives, but the PHP
documentation won't include documentation for those...

I feel we should do a little research and come up with a bunch of free
alternatives, create a faq, and link to this faq in pdf/reference.xml

Wouldn't be more interesting that the FREE versions would be
documented, rather the paid ones? We already have two :-)
