This is the way it should be, the images are stored on a different
server than the one feeding the PHP pages.
The images are not broken, nor do I see how your browser can crash even
if the images *would* be broken.

All images in the manual point to:
http://64.246.30.196/www.php.net/images/php.gif
Resolution: remove the IP address.
It forces the browser to continuely attempt to download the image and
doesn't provide a broken image link. Caused my browser to crash two
times.
