Problem in php upload

Respected Sir(s), I am a software professional in PHP. Let me tell you first about my configuration. I am running PHP in the webserver MS PWS in win98. Now my problem, I am trying to upload a file of size 100 mb from a webpage. I have used "move_uploaded_file()" to upload the file. It is not working at all but when I tried the same script to upload 1mb file it worked fine. Some of my friends has told me to use "copy()" function, as it was not working right for 100mb file. I have included the hidden field <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="104857600"> also didn't work! I have gone through the PHP manual where it is written the default size is 8mb, and to change that I have to change php.ini file in the variable upload_max_filesize, I have also tried that by changing that to 100 mb. In every case I didn't get any error but I got the normal output with the temporary uploaded filename= blank. Can you help me out as it is very urgent. I have searched a lot but couldn't get rid of this.Hope you give me a way out of this.
