I was talking about adding the PHP tags in the examples. The commit I've pointed out was made a few time before mine. As you may notice, there's no
PHP tags in the example provided by Zak. This means that there will be another commit on this file adding tags. Anyway, maybe the tag's usage need to be discussed more and added to the doc's howto ?
Yep, as there is no fixed rule for this right now. Actually the howto presents an example without PHP opening and closing tags as a skeleton, and there is no statement on this in the conventions section. I am for adding those tags by the way for clarity, but I didn't like the way it was done, and I am not in favor of such mass commits, especially in cases where the target of the commit is not critical, it can be easily overcome in the processing system...
