Some XML source files in the en/ tree have their executable permissions set [1]. Is there a specific reason for this? This is a bit confusing, for example for translators: I first thought it meant something like "Do not translate", or another warning about the file. Maybe they were inserted into the repository from a Windows computer? I have noticed that files on a Windows computer, when accessed from a Linux computer, have their executable permissions set.
Maybe. What's the problem with this? Just don't try to run them ;) Goba
