web translation system

Hello, Yesterday I was thinking in getting the translation of the documentation (and the website) easier. And the I remembered the system used by google (http://services.google.com/tcbin/tc.py). This translation system is web based and so, easier to translators. I don't know if any translating group has done this, but what about doing a web-based system to translations? That would include some stats, like how many docs you have translated, how many docs have been translated to your language, and the docs remaining to translate. Then, you would click in a button and start translating. The system would display you the docs in english and a text field in order you to write the translated info. Any comments on this? Nuno Lopes
