ID: 26390 Updated by: pollita@php.net Reported By: corinl at gmx dot de Status: Closed Bug Type: Documentation problem PHP Version: 4.3.0 New Comment: s/always/already/ Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-11-25 14:12:46] pollita@php.net It always has been changed. See CVS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-11-25 10:11:00] betz@php.net As the behavior of gzpassthru changed, the docs for this func should be updated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-11-24 18:36:30] pollita@php.net This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. Thanks... gzpassthru()'s behavior changed slightly with the introduction of streams. The next build of the manual will have it showing an explicit gzclose(); ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-11-24 16:47:01] corinl at gmx dot de Description: ------------ http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.zlib.php In Example 1, there is a missing "gzclose($zp);" before the unlink. When the example is run "as is" it cannot unlink the tmp file because it is still open. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=26390&edit=1
