I've been going through http://www.php.net/manual/howto/cvs-login.html, but I've hit a problem using cvs on cygwin (my linux box recently died). $ cvs login cvs: gzip compression level must be between 0 and 9 I've also tried `cvs -z 0 login', suggested by didou. I've attached files which may be relevant..You probably have a bogus CVSROOT setting, check if it is properly defined... Goba
