Creating an extension : projet compilation with gcc

Hi, compiling an extension if you have only one .c file is fine, but with gcc (and linux) I didn't find any way to compile a projet extension. I mean a extension based on several .c. This is due to the -c option that you use in your example. Is there a way todo that and if yes, could you tell us how to do that. This is possible under windows.
