I’ve seen in the mysqli documentation two referentes &reftitle.returnvalues and &reftitle.seealso, but not in all functions And I think that It would be good if it is defined to be used rather than the <title></title> way. And as a translator it is nice to Skip this template statements, and if it is extended to more titles like <title>Description<title> and so on… It would be really nice for translators like me J, but it depends on the agreement between the doc writers. So I leave this comment to be consider to whom it may concern.
I am fine with using entities. IMHO it is just a matter of someone replacing the titles.
I'm for that too. Easy to update for translators or if we want a drastic change in the phrasing. In the french doc, we use it in other situations, like for the PHP word, so as to make the look uniform across the the doc, and easy to maintain. I do remember that too many entities will slow down the process. That's a go ahead from me. :) Damien.
