Doc-problem, fnmatch() does indeed return a boolean

I'm using php 4.2.2, and noticed that this function returns a boolean
(and not an array as stated in the documentation above)
<?php echo gettype (fnmatch ("*.txt", "abc.txt")); ?>
Results: boolean
