I agree. And as useful as it may be or seem it doesn't
feel right to have it mentioned on every page where
a new PHP feature is documented. How about putting
this in just a few places like under Migration from
PHP4 to PHP5? Sure it's also for dealing with minor
upgrades but I can't think of an approprate location
for that.
