The correct return value should be boolean. Using gettype on the return value returns "boolean". Reproduce code: --------------- $im = imagecreatetruecolor(100,100); echo gettype(imagejpeg($im)); Expected result: ---------------- I'm expecting to see "integer" echoed (according to the manual).
