#29819 [NEW]: Extension documentation for Windows Flavor

From: gabe at horizondatacom dot com Operating system: Windows 2003 PHP version: 5.0.1 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: Extension documentation for Windows Flavor Description: ------------ Do you think that you could post with the installation guide some material on the extensions and their requirements? I spend 2 hours trying to figure out why php_mycrypt.dll was locking up my webserver until I realized that I needed to download the binaries when I looked at the mcrypt function documentation. This would be a very useful section of the installation requirements to help people get going. I would be happy to contribute and help with this. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=29819&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=trysnapshot50 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=trysnapshot51 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=29819&r=float
