Thanks Goba. Everyone: any suggestions for this problem? We could implement a shortened URL handler on master.php.net, but I doubt that would go over well with the regular master maintainers. TinyURL (or alike) would work, but I don't like depending on a third party. I'd like to completely re-work the notes process, on docweb, someday.. maybe this should wait. S
