See http://cvs.php.net/annotate.php/php-src/ext/msql/php_msql.c?rev=1.58#239 to confirm. So, please remove the "username" and "password" parameters. While y'all are at it, please incorporate the user note on that page regarding Unix sockets being used if the "hostname" parameter is not provided.
