Description:
------------
The procedure described in section "Compiling PECL extensions
statically into PHP" in INSTALL and in PHP manual is incorrect.
Instead of running:
$ cd /your/phpsrcdir
$ ./buildconf
$ ./configure --help
$ ./configure --with-extname --enable-someotherext --with-foobar
$ make
$ make install
One should run "with autoconf 2.13":
$ cd /your/phpsrcdir
$ rm -f ./configure
$ ./buildconf --force
$ ./configure --help
$ ./configure --with-extname --enable-someotherext --with-foobar
$ make
$ make install
The "with autoconf 2.13" should be mentioned in the document, too.
