Since the online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better. For over 3 1/2 years count() has a second paramter, which allows to count an array recursive. Also an object, which implements SPL's Countable, returns the value returned by the count method. Both are mentioned in the English version of the manual. I tried to find out if an other version of the docs can be found in CVS, but could find out, where to look for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=34160&edit=1
