Hi Stefan, Thats for informing us of this situation. I have deleted the notes. All user notes are always read by a notes editor (and yes, having urls in notes can be useful). However, I haven't received any e-mail with these notes (or I would have deleted them already). Don't hesitate to contact us (at php-notes@lists.php.net) if you find any other spam/stupid note. Nuno

Hi, have a look at php.net/fopen, if the user notes are not deleted already, you will see several spam comments at the top. Why are we turning urls into hyperlinks in comments? There's no real use, and it's nice for spammers and google bombers... Please CC me on replies, i'm not subscribed to the list. Regards, Stefan
