This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Concerning the spanish version of the documentation:
http://es2.php.net/manual/es/function.strspn.php
The second example (the one demonstrating the extra start/length
parameters) reads:
echo strspn("prueba", "u", 1, 4); // La salida es: 2
(La salida es: 2 = The output is: 2)
This is wrong; the output is 0. I suggest the following example
instead:
echo strspn("zoología", "o", 1, 3); // La salida es: 2
