bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same.

In the current documentation associated to SimpleXMLElement->getName()
method, it's writen : "(no version information, might be only in
CVS)".
But, I use PHP 5.1.4 and it work fine.
