You could send a file, or two, to the list and have people check it
out for you...

I don't have the time to check it out at the moment, hopefully someone

Looks pretty good so far, but all filenames should be lowercased and use - instead of _. A few in phpdoc differentiate from this but they are old and it doesn't feel worth the trouble to lose CVS history by fixing them.
Please keep asking any and all questions because it'll help make for an improved doc howto.
