online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

The example on http://www.php.net/filter uses the
non-existent flags
FILTER_FLAG_SCALAR and FILTER_FLAG_ARRAY; I think those should be
FILTER_REQUIRE_SCALAR and FILTER_REQUIRE_ARRAY.
