There are probably some variations such as "type hinting" or "type-hint", but that might not be a real problem. However, we have to consider that any change to the manual would require all translations to be updated. I can imagine that this would require manual inspection (i.e. it can't be automated), because the term might sometimes be (partially) translated in different ways, with referring pronouns etc. BTW: please don't top-post.
