Hi Richard!
It's great to see you're willing to help. We never have enough
contributors. The suggested way is, however, to start with the
Online Documentation Editor (edit.php.net), which is linked from
every manual page. Login with your email or 3rd party account,
submit fixes and after some time and getting familiar with inner
workings of The Manual you can request an account.
For later information you can take a look at
