Well, there is no formal review process. If any of the doc guys has
some spare time, they review some of the patches, rejecting or approving
them as seen fit.

I would suggest that you provide some more patches (the
Imagick::brightnessContrastImage one was fine, thanks!), and afterwards
apply for doc-karma via <http://php.net/git-php.php>.
