php4-cli - problem with mysql support

Hi all, I'm writing a little php script which executed by a cron in every 15 minutes to extract some data from a mysql database and write to a file located inside the /etc directory of my linux box. problem is when i xecute the db connection php script throgh CLI using the command 'php4 /var/www/db.inc.php', it says .. Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/db.inc.php on line 6 i installed php and other stuff i need with the following debian command. apt-get install php4 php4-cli mysql-server mysql-client phpmyadmin php4-mysql i'm tring to rectify this issue since last week, and googled a lot but still the problem is same..
