[libGD] #238 [Task opened] gd compile failing on AIX5.3

User who did this - Mark (MPowell) Attached to Project - libGD Summary - gd compile failing on AIX5.3 Task Type - Support Request Category - Configure/Build Status - Unconfirmed Assigned To - Operating System - Other Severity - Medium Priority - Normal Reported Version - 2.0.35 Due in Version - Undecided Due Date - Undecided Details - I have been trying to get a new installation compiled and working (version 2.0.35) on AIX5.3 The configure seems to run through fine (see attached file). then I always need to edit the created Makefile to remove the space between the -L and the /usr/local/lib directory so the compile does not crash with a severe error. However, when I run make, the prcess runs through to: cc -qlanglvl=extc89 -g -o .libs/gdparttopng gdparttopng.o -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/include -L./.libs -lgd -liconv -lpng -lz -lm -Wl,-blibpath:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/vac/lib:/usr/lib:/lib and then it crashed with the following error: ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .gdImagePng ld: 0711-345 Use the -bloadmap or -bnoquiet option to obtain more information. make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 8.
