As for any script *stating* that it is 'binary safe', I don't think you're
going to find that anywhere. I've seen a lot of scripts that allowing
downloading of binary files (including some scripts I made for keeping track
of file download stats with pass thru scripts) and I've never seen those
words as part of the description. But I looked at the script from the above
link and I can assure you that it is binary safe. It sends the file using
the content type 'application/octet-stream', which is the content type used
for sending binary data. Bit-for-bit.
