Of course, I use:

header('Location: http://www.whereIWantToGo.com');
?>
A less simple way is to creatre an .htaccess file (Apache server)
redirect /MyCurrentWebDirectory http://www.whereIWantToGo.com
There is no slash at the end of that line. Careful,
