php4, sapi/servlet, resin

hello! i have been tinkering today with trying to integrate php4 and java servlets; however, i am trying the resin servlet engine, rather than tomcat. i have gotten resin configured to the point where it is passing off -- via a <servlet-mapping> -- .php requests to net.php.servlet. however, i am running into the following error: javax.servlet.ServletException: bailout at net.php.servlet.send(Native Method) at net.php.servlet.service(servlet.java:158) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:840) at com.caucho.server.http.AbstractRequest.service(AbstractRequest.java:450) at com.caucho.server.http.AbstractRequest.service(AbstractRequest.java:393) at com.caucho.server.http.PageCache$Entry.service(PageCache.java:252) at com.caucho.server.http.PageCache.service(PageCache.java:103) at com.caucho.server.http.VirtualHost.service(VirtualHost.java:395) at com.caucho.server.http.Request.dispatch(Request.java:211) at com.caucho.server.http.RunnerRequest.handleRequest(RunnerRequest.java:302) at com.caucho.server.http.RunnerRequest.handleConnection(RunnerRequest.java:257) at com.caucho.server.TcpConnection.run(TcpConnection.java:145) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:475) this appears to trace down to servlet.c http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/php4/sapi/servlet/servlet.c?rev=1.30&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup #ifdef ZTS if (setjmp(EG(bailout))!=0) { ThrowServletException(jenv,"bailout"); return; } #endif anybody have any ideas, by chance? (i am not sure what the ZTS means, to be honest; my phpinfo() says "Thread Safety disabled", even) i can send you more configuration information if you'd like. i am running debian (unstable) linux (2.3.49), blackdown jdk 1.2.2 RC 4, apache 1.3.12, resin 1.1.2. thanks! ryan
