Hi all,
I'm not actually subscribed to the mailing list, so I hope this gets
through and that it's okay for me to ask y'all for help; I'm about at
my wit's end, trying to figure out what to do.
This is the problem.
We're running Debian Linux at my site, and I have managed to get
Apache 2.0.39 up and running, following the recent security announcement.
(We are upgrading from 1.3.9.) In order to try to maintain as much
similar functionality as possible, I attempted to compile PHP 4.2.1
as a dynamic module to load from my httpd.conf.
Now, although my server-info page does report that PHP is installed,
I only appear to have partial functionality. For example, the include()
function which I use on many pages is working, but not getlastmod()
where I'm trying to report the last modified date of the pages in
question.
At this page, http://www.annathepiper.org/test.html, I have one
line of code:
<?echo date("m/d/y",getlastmod());?>
And it is returning 12/31/69.
Any help or advice on things that I might want to check in my configuration
would be much appreciated! Please email me at anna@murkworks.net, since,
as I said, I am not subscribed to the list.
Cheers,
Anna Korra'ti
